Life is so generous a gift
but we, judging it's gifts
by their covering,
cast them away as ugly
or heavy or hard.
Remove the covering
and you will find beneath it
a living splendor,
woven of love, by wisdom
with power.

I linked to your blog from Cheri's blog.
I love the poem from "Gifts" In our family, it is very true, for our youngest princess sports an extra chromosome :)
I love the work you are doing, I want to ask you so many questions. I was not aware of how "wide" your ministry goes. I believe someday the Lord will take us down the path of adoption. Not yet, but someday. Regardless, it would be wonderful to sit down over a cup of coffee and ask you questions...
I found your blog through Cheri's blog as well. Wow, how amazing it is to see you answering the call you received from Christ. Your family is beautiful. My youngest daughter like the comment above me also has Down Syndrome. Gifts is a wonderful book that we give to all new parents here in the Central Texas area from the Down Syndrome association. Bless you and your family!
Hi Ellen,
What a beautiful family you have! The fun part about people checking out my blog and leaving a post, is that I get to check out awesome blogs like yours!
Wow, what an awesome, hard and beautiful journey you are on. I emailed you and would love to have coffee with you someday!
Blessings and hugs!
Hi Jeanette,
Your little angel is a beauty! Oh my goodness, you must be so proud. Thanks for sharing your comment. I really enjoyed your web page and LOVE the pictures... what a little princess you have! The Lord has entrusted you with much and that must mean you're pretty special!
Blessings and hugs!
